Speed Skating Canada presents its 2015-2016 National Competitions calendar

Ottawa, ON – Speed Skating Canada (SSC) has unveiled its national competitions calendar for the 2015-16 season in short and long track.  In total, the Olympic Oval will play host to three SSC national events; the Long  Track Fall World Cups Selections, Long Track Canadian Single Distance Championships / Canada Cup #2 and Canada Cup #4 / Olympic Oval Finale.   The Oval will also play host to the first Long Track World Cup event of the ISU season on November 13-15, 2015.

In addition to the events to be held at the national team training centres in Montreal (Maurice-Richard Arena, Short Track), Calgary (Olympic Oval, Long Track) and Quebec City (Gaétan-Boucher Oval, Long Track), six national competitions will take place in other Canadian cities, i.e. at Richmond’s Olympic Oval (B.C.), in Lévis (QC), in Winnipeg (MB), in Fredericton (N.B.), in Edmonton (AB) and in Charlottetown (P.E.I.).
