Oval Coat Drive 2022

This Christmas, help a neighbour go from feeling lost to being found.

The Olympic Oval's 2nd Annual Coat Drive runs until December 4th, 2022. Our goal to provide clothing for 100 Calgarians in need.

You can make a difference by donating clean, used winter jackets, toques, gloves, socks and scarves.

Drop off your donations at the Olympic Oval and our Guest Relations team will process them from there.

Winter Jackets

We need 100 winter jackets. These jackets should be gently used and clean, with no rips, tears or holes but most importantly warm - enough to handle -30°C.

Toques & Scarves

We need 100 toques and 100 scarves. These items should be gently used and clean, with no rips, tears or holes but most importantly warm - enough to handle -30°C.

Socks

We need 100 pairs of socks. These socks should be gently used and clean, with no rips, tears or holes but most importantly warm - enough to handle -30°C.

Gloves

We need 100 pairs of gloves or mittens. These gloves or mittens should be gently used and clean, with no rips, tears or holes but most importantly warm - enough to handle -30°C.

We are also accepting boots and other winter apparel. It's going to be a very cold winter. Your donation makes a massive difference in the lives of Calgarians less fortunate.

How do I know my donation will help?

The Olympic Oval will take all the items and screen those that are unacceptable for donation. We will ensure items are clean, undamaged, and suitable for winter in Calgary. Other items that are not part of our Coat Drive will still be donated but at the discretion of the Mustard Seed. Items not accepted will be given to other charitable organizations.

Other options to help

Not everyone has extra clothing at home, so if you can, please donate directly to the Mustard Seed today. Donations for as little as $5.38 are making significant differences in the lives of at-risk and vulnerable Calgarians.

How are we doing?

100 Winter Jackets

100 Pairs of Toques & Scarves

100 Pairs of Socks

100 Pairs of Gloves

We have some of the most caring and compassionate users here at the Olympic Oval. We know this is going to be a very successful campaign. It's a small part but makes a huge difference in the lives of our less fortunate neighbours.
