Rules
- Helmets with a cage or a full-face visor are mandatory for all ages and skill levels.
- Hockey gloves must be worn by all participants.
- No contact (ie. checking)
- Full equipment is permitted and recommended however, there will be no dressing room provided. Players can get dressed next to the rink on benches provided.
- Players must bring their own pucks. Pucks will not be provided.
- Nets will not be provided nor permitted during this time.
- Playing hockey games (shinny) during this time is not permitted.
Rules Cont'd
- Pre-practice warm-ups (ie. Running on track, stair climbing, skating on other ice surfaces) are prohibited.
- No shooting pucks outside of the hockey rink.
- Players are expected to share the ice with other users, being respectful of the space and safety of others.
- Use of profanity, discrimination or inappropriate language is not permitted.
- Groups/Individuals are responsible for any damage they may cause to the facility.
- Spitting/chewing tobacco products is not allowed.
- Anyone under the influence, consuming or possessing alcohol or drugs will be refused entry and/or be removed from the facility.
Stick & Puck is a new time that allows the use of sticks and pucks on the ice. It's a lot of fun and helps players break in their equipment prior to hockey try-outs.
