The benefits of advertising in the Olympic Oval.

- Large impact messaging.
- Raising your brand’s awareness.
- High quality and guaranteed visibility.
- Community Engagement.
- Valuable demographics.
Sport and sport facilities deserves the same societal role as literature, performing arts, sculpture, cinema, and other expressions of human culture, skill, and creativity. Like many arts, sports have rules and expectations that their most creative and memorable practitioners find ways to bend or move in a new direction. Sport may be enjoyed directly—even if you are an amateur—and viewed as a spectator when one wants to watch an expert performance. Sport can especially provide collective joy, civic pride and even elements of transcendence that the finest art aspires to.
The Olympic Oval works tirelessly to provide a dynamic, innovative culture that promotes and celebrates participation and excellence. It is a values-based and principle-driven culture. It is not perfect. Sport is going through a necessary and transformative time right now—and for the better.
Communities are in desperate need of facilities that are easily accessible. Most people don’t think of public skating as fitness, but they see the effects— cognitive improvement, joint and muscle health, weight loss, stress management and mental wellness. As health and well-being become more important, the Oval is working tirelessly to be a place where anyone can come and enjoy the many health benefits of skating and running. Thousands come every year, and we hope to be a place where thousands more can discover skating and running in a welcoming, diverse, inclusive and safe environment. Organizations partnering with the Oval can have positive associations—an effective tool for showcasing the value of an organization and its impact on a community. Furthermore, it increases brand equity, consumer perception, and value. Brand equity directly impacts sales volume and a company’s profitability as consumers gravitate toward products and services with great reputations.

Daktronic Arena Screens
The Oval utilizes three large-format Daktronics arena screens. These screens surround the Oval in three key areas: centre ice, the west side of our building, and the NW corner. Each area is designed for maximum customer engagement.
By advertising in the Oval, we received two new major sporting event contracts which more than paid for the cost of advertising. It was money well spent.

Vinyl Banners
Vinyl Banners have a two-fold function: Advertising and safety. Banners surrond our long and short track ice and help hold together crash bumpers to help prevent athlete injury.
It's essential for us to build awareness, and with the traffic in the Oval, it has helped build considerable awareness for our brand.

Dasher Boards
Hockey fan or not, you’re probably a big fan of highly visible and effective promotion for your business. With cost-effective high visibility, dasher board advertising may be the perfect fit.
Arena advertising offers a more captive audience than other media but typically a much longer viewing time. Hockey rink spectators are often in the stands for 60 minutes at a time, sometimes multiple times per week.
It's really important to get the word out about Hockey. We are dedicated to helping promote hockey organizations since 1987 and being present in the Oval really helps with that messaging.

Zamboni Wraps
The Olympic Oval has three Zambonis. Zambonis or ice resurfacers, are machines that are used to clean and smooth the surface of an ice sheet. With prime visibility to the fans pre-game/pre-competition and during intermissions and floods, it is an integral part of our sponsorship inventory. Zamboni wraps are a great way to highlight your brand and get creative while capturing fans’ attention. Zambonis are as Canadian as Tim Hortons, and one of our most valuable assets.
Why does the Zamboni retain such a fascination for people of all ages? Because it’s an elephant ballerina. It’s a tank that shoots rainbows. It’s that goofy uncle at a wedding who’s a terrific dancer. The Zamboni looks like it should be towing a payload of rubble. It seems made for smashing. And on top of it, eyes are glued to the Zamboni each and every lap around the rink.

Ice-in Logos
Arena advertising not only offers a more captive audience compared to other media but typically a much longer viewing time. Hockey rink spectators are often in the stands for 60 minutes at a time, sometimes multiple times per week.
Through sponsorship of in-ice logos, the Oval can help to promote local businesses and celebrate the brands who wish to support us. It's more than just a logo—they are integrated pieces of a brand's identity aligning themselves with the Oval. At the end of the day, people take notice and they look great on the ice!
