Daktronic Arena Screens

The Oval utilizes three large-format Daktronics arena screens. These screens surround the Oval in three key areas: centre ice, the west side of our building, and the NW corner. Each area is designed for maximum customer engagement.

Vinyl Banners

Vinyl Banners have a two-fold function: Advertising and safety. Banners surrond our long and short track ice and help hold together crash bumpers to help prevent athlete injury.

Measurements

  • Our banners measure 24.25' x 2.9' (7.4m x 0.9m).
  • Banner are made from vinyl and affixed to bumpers with velcro stitching.

Hockey fan or not, you’re probably a big fan of highly visible and effective promotion for your business. With cost-effective high visibility, dasher board advertising may be the perfect fit.

Arena advertising offers a more captive audience than other media but typically a much longer viewing time. Hockey rink spectators are often in the stands for 60 minutes at a time, sometimes multiple times per week.

Zamboni Wraps

The Olympic Oval has three Zambonis. Zambonis or ice resurfacers, are machines that are used to clean and smooth the surface of an ice sheet. With prime visibility to the fans pre-game/pre-competition and during intermissions and floods, it is an integral part of our sponsorship inventory. Zamboni wraps are a great way to highlight your brand and get creative while capturing fans’ attention. Zambonis are as Canadian as Tim Hortons, and one of our most valuable assets.

Why does the Zamboni retain such a fascination for people of all ages? Because it’s an elephant ballerina. It’s a tank that shoots rainbows. It’s that goofy uncle at a wedding who’s a terrific dancer. The Zamboni looks like it should be towing a payload of rubble. It seems made for smashing. And on top of it, eyes are glued to the Zamboni each and every lap around the rink.

Ice-in Logos

Ice

Logos are imbedded in the ice as fabric stencil. Once the logo is placed, we cover the logos with a layer of ice. The logos are them permanent for the season.

Printing

  • We partner with Jet Ice to print the logos.
  • Printing is an additional cost to be paid by the advertiser. 

Through sponsorship of in-ice logos, the Oval can help to promote local businesses and celebrate the brands who wish to support us. It's more than just a logo—they are integrated pieces of a brand's identity aligning themselves with the Oval. At the end of the day, people take notice and they look great on the ice!
