The International Skating Union (ISU) was founded in 1892 and is the oldest governing international winter sport federation.
We are the national governing body for speed skating in Canada. We’re here to rally, inspire and lead the charge for our country’s most successful Olympic sport. Founded in 1887, we proudly represent over 12,000 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers from coast to coast.
Speed Skating Alberta (SSA), is the provincial sport organization responsible for the amateur sport of speed skating in the Province of Alberta. Our Association administers both the long and short track disciplines of the sport.
