ISU Centre of Excellence

The ISU Center of Excellence (CoE) is a hub where the education of Coaches, Officials, training of talented Skaters, and various seminars, webinars and workshops take place; it is where Skaters, Coaches and Officials have access to high-quality experts, services and sufficient on-and off-ice facilities. 

The Olympic Oval was chosen in 2019 for a two-year pilot phase after which it was selected for a four-year designation between 2022-2026.

A combination of programming, ice technology, and location on the University of Calgary campus ensures its consistency in providing a high-performance environment. UCalgary is one of the few universities globally positioned to be able to support the Olympic Oval.
